Location: The venue is located in the picturesque Lennox Head coastal village, ten minutes from the Ballina CBD. Affectingly known by locals as "Lennox", the destination is most popular for its laid back lifestyle, surfing culture, and liveable climate all year around. Lennox offers a variety of accommodation options, and the retail precinct with its vibrant cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance from the cultural centre. Amenities: The centre provides flexible multipurpose spaces with audio visual technology and architectural designed acoustic infrastructure that caters to the most demanding conference requirements. The centre is staffed by a friendly, professional team that can assist you with the pre-booking process, administration, and floor management stages of your event through our fee for service charter.
The centre hosts a large auditorium and adjoining kitchen, bar and servery, four meeting rooms, a large foyer and outside courtyard. These spaces can be divided to best suit your event and breakout sessions. The Auditorium has tiered and floor seating capacity for up to 396 attendees with the additional spaces to cater for an additional 240 attendees across the centre. For easy operational navigation the centre has on-site parking and two drive in loading bays for pickups and drop offs. Air Transport: Lennox Head Community Centre is accessible by all major airlines via the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport. With up to 58 flights per week you can fly daily from Sydney on Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Rex. The Newcastle service operates 6 days a week on Fly Pelican. Road Transport: The Ballina Byron Gateway Airport offers easy and convenient travel options to and from the airport including long and short term car parking, car rentals, shuttle bus services, taxis and limousine services. Catering: The Lennox Head Community Centre offers a self-catering option with the hire of the commercial kiosk to provide onsite catering for your attendees. The kiosk has a range of commercial refrigeration, cooking and heating equipment, tea and coffee making facilities. Also each of the meeting rooms throughout the centre has an adjoining kitchenette allowing easy catering for smaller meeting and breakout spaces. We can provide a list of local catering contractors to assist in all your catering needs. With pre-arrangement on application, the kiosk and foyer space can become your private licenced trendy bar at night providing networking space to allow your attendees to wind down in a more relaxed atmosphere.
