Located on the upper floor of the Ballina Surf Club, the Gawandii room can accommodate between 41 to 150 people, depending on the layout you choose.

'Gawandii' means 'dolphin' in the local Bundjalung language, and was chosen by the local elders.

* Please note when the Gawandii room is booked on its own there is no direct access to the kitchenette. Please request assistance from the Community Spaces team.

  5. Our staff will contact you within two business days of receiving your booking request to confirm availability and to complete your booking.

Once a completed booking form is received, you will be emailed an invoice for your booking. Payment terms are 14 days. Regular hirers may elect to pay monthly.
