> Do you have a PA or sound system?The centre has a PA System available for hire. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own sound equipment for your event. Large events or private functions planning to use loud music shall meet strict guidelines due to the proximity of the centre to some dwellings. Please speak to a member of our team for further information. |
> What type of power access is there in the Auditorium?The Auditorium has a number of 240 volt power outlets located around the perimeter of the space and located in each of the four storage rooms. Two 3-phase power outlets are also available for large events; one located centrally on the western wall of the hall, the other in the south-east corner storage room. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure their electrical requirements are both safe and suitable to the power options available. |
> Can I use a smoke machine in the Auditorium?No. As our facility is fitted with smoke detectors, we are unable to allow a smoke machine. |
> What facilities does the kichen have?The kitchen at Lennox Head Cultural Centre is fitted out with a two door commercial fridge, microwave, oven, bain marie, commercial glass washer and stainless steel preparation area including double sink. The kitchen is suitable for heating and refrigeration of food only. Food preparation is to be done offsite by catering team and delivered to site prepared. |
> What car parking facilities do you have?The centre has a public car park with space for 48 cars. Additional parking is available in the surrounding streets, a parking map can be provided to show the location for ease of parking for your delegates. |
> How many tables and chairs do you have?The centre has 40 trestle tables (6ft/1.83m and 8ft/2.44m) and 500 chairs available for use within the facility.

> How do I know if there will be a simultaneous sporting event on at the adjacent sports ground in Williams Reserve, Lennox Head?You can telephone the Council on 1300 864 444 and ask if there are any bookings on the day(s) of interest. |
> Can you provide (sell) alcohol at your event?The Lennox Head Cultural Centre is not a licenced premise. This means that if you intend to sell alcohol at your event, you will need to apply to Home - Liquor & Gaming NSW for a licence. The website outlines all the information required to lodge your application, including qualifying for the licence and licence conditions. The online process is easy to follow, but please remember to allow at least six – eight weeks to process your application. Limited Licence – single function This licence allows a not-for-profit, sports club or community group to sell alcohol for consumption during a single event. More information. Some non-for-profit groups may be exempt from requiring a single function liquor licence and may be able to hold up to six events per calendar year without a licence. More information. Limited Licence – special event A special event limited licence can be granted if the Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority is satisfied that an event is infrequent or temporary, is genuine and in the public interest, having regard to the objects of the Liquor Act 2007.
